Since hearing the plans for LJM Memorial hospice, I know firsthand just how valuable an asset this would be to any community, especially one at such distance away from other facilities which are all closer to the city. A hospice provision which is a part of the community and not seen as just a medical, clinical building would help families like mine who disliked such an atmosphere to feel comfortable and not out of place. It would also help families and spouses like myself, who want their loved ones closer to home and need extra support and care. Knowing the benefit such a place would have for the community; I wholeheartedly support Kate and all involved with LJM's mission to bring this much needed asset to fruition.

"I sooooo hope LJM will go ahead in Seatrees how awesome will that be!!! What we find to be a real pain in the butt is blood tests, you have to drive to Joondalup just for a blood test as it has to be done through *a certain phlebotomist company. For us LJM would provide helpful information/knowledge and to be a part of an environment / community that understands and respects the shit side of life! All the recreational activities etc would be fantastic also."

A community hospice will not only support families who are in the midst of an end of life event but will bring purpose to many others through various volunteering opportunities by either using learnt skills or developing new ones all in ways which will be paramount to helping those said families.
